Paul Wasicka won the championship WSOP Circuit $5,000 no-limit Hold’em in Tunica, Mississippi.
In the event Wasicka competed with 96 players and topped the field beating all of them. As a prize money he got the amount of $139,422. With this win, the total career earning of the player is now $7,768,115.
When the tournament began with 96 players, Wasicka was hopeful and wanted to win the tournament. After a few rounds of the game, Wasicka reaches to the final with 9 players in the competition. When the final day of the tournament began, Wasicka defeated everyone and entered in the final battle.
He was having the chip lead with 454,000. And the other players have chips in following numbers for the seat 1, Larry Gurney had the chip of 137,500, for seat 2, Shane Zell has the chip of 336,500, for seat 3, Jerry Saucier had the chip of 77,000, for seat 4 Robert Thornhill had the chip of 53,000, for seat 5 Matt Stout had the chip of 102,500, for seat 6 Paul Wasicka had the chip of 454,000, for seat 7 Carter Phillips had the chip 200,000, for seat 8 Dwyte Pilgrim had the chip of 322,000 and for seat 9 Richard Robb had the chip of 224,500.
The lead of Wasicka continued till the last round of the game and in the last round, he came in-front of Gurney after removing Robb from the match. Gurney took an equal stack of chip against Wasicka. The balance got disturbed when Wasicka won an early pot for a quarter of a million in chips. After that, Wasicka easily defeated Gurney and emerged as the winner of the tournament. It was the clear victory for the player and he got the prize amount of $139,422.
