Mustapha Kanit triumphs €936,500 prize money at EPT Grand Final €50K Super High Roller event

The fast paced European Poker Tour Grand Final of the 2015 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo® Casino with €50,000 Super High Roller took just one action packed day to end.   On Monday morning at 3:30 AM the final hand was dealt, after the play was started off on Sunday just after 12:30 local time.

At the closing of the registration sixty six entries were confirmed and a prize pool of €3.2 million was in order. The €936,500 top prize was destined to be owned by the Italian, and Mustapha Kanit had live tournaments earnings amounting to almost $2.7 million before he registered in to the event. This is the biggest paycheck for the young player and the other biggest of Kanit came as early as 2014 when he finished at the fourth spot netting $492,600 at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $25,500 High Roller event.

The top 10 players remained in the table it became a battle to win short stacks and Vladimir Troyanovskiy was eventually eliminated to become the “Bubble Boy” of the event.
